Master Program in International Business Economics

Objective
- Provide academic training to be a professional who will secure executive and research position in domestic and international business, trade and professional associations universities, and private research organization;
- Advance research skill in the field of international business economics; and
- Support Thailand’s development of high leveled human resources.
The Curriculum highlight
- Joint program with Washington State University and cooperate with prominent universities e.g. including : University of Chicago, McGill University in Canada , and University of Auckland in New Zealand;
- Strategic intent for Global Business Economic;
- Elite program for Business Strategic Planner;
- One year program; and
- International program at the local cost.
Program Structure
The MIBE Program consists of 36 total credits.
A. Thesis Plan
Five core courses in Economics and Methodology (3 credits each):
- Macroeconomics
- Microeconomics
- Statistical Analysis for Business Decision Making
- Microeconomics for Business Decision Making
- International Trade
Three core courses in Business (3 credits each):
- Financial Decision Making
- International Marketing
- International Business Management
Thesis (12 Credits)
B. Workshop Plan
Five core courses in Economics and Methodology (3 credits each):

Three core courses in Business (3 credits each):

- Two elective courses chosen from offered courses in economics, business, management, law, politics, etc.
Workshop on International Business Economics (6 credits)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with GPA above 2.50; otherwise at least one year working experience is required.
- Pass the UTCC MIBE English Entrance Examination or TOEFL at least 500 or its equivalent; and
- Satisfy the criterion established by the MIBE Admission Committee.

- Visiting Professors from well-known universities including Washington State University, University of Chicago and Texas A&M University in U.S.A. McGill University in Canada and University of Auckland in New Zealand; and
- Faculties from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
