วันที่ 14 กรกฎาคม 2569 มหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทยจัดพิธีฉลองการได้รับการรับรองสถานะ Apple Distinguished School ประจำปี 2025–2028 พร้อมมอบเกียรติบัตรแก่คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และผู้มีส่วนร่วมจากคณะและหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ทั่วทั้งมหาวิทยาลัย โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธนวรรธน์ พลวิชัย อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทย เป็นประธานในพิธี กล่าวแสดงความยินดี และมอบเกียรติบัตรท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่อบอุ่นและเต็มไปด้วยความภาคภูมิใจ
Apple Distinguished School หรือ ADS คือการรับรองจาก Apple แก่สถานศึกษาที่สามารถนำเทคโนโลยีมาเชื่อมโยงกับวิสัยทัศน์ ภาวะผู้นำ การเรียนการสอน การพัฒนาอาจารย์ และประสบการณ์ของผู้เรียนได้อย่างเป็นระบบ การรับรองไม่ได้พิจารณาจากจำนวนอุปกรณ์ แต่พิจารณาจากการนำเทคโนโลยีไปใช้จริงและผลลัพธ์ที่เกิดขึ้นกับการเรียนรู้
มหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทยเป็น มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งแรกและเป็นสถาบันเพียงแห่งเดียวในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ที่ได้รับการรับรอง Apple Distinguished School ในระดับทั้งมหาวิทยาลัย โดยขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคโนโลยีมาอย่างต่อเนื่องกว่า 15 ปี ตั้งแต่ระบบ 1:1 iPad การเรียนรู้แบบ iHybrid และ UTCC LMS จนถึงการนำ AI และ UTCC Jarvis มาใช้สนับสนุนการเรียนการสอน การทำงานของคณาจารย์ และการให้บริการนักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยได้รับการรับรองเป็น Apple Distinguished School ต่อเนื่องเป็นครั้งที่ 5 โดยรอบล่าสุดคือรอบปี 2025–2028
การดำเนินงานครั้งนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากคณะผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธนวรรธน์ พลวิชัย อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทย พร้อมด้วย นายปรเมศ ส่งแสงเติม รองอธิการบดีอาวุโสสายงานธุรกิจองค์กร ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชัชชัย หวังวิวัฒนา รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ นางสาวมาเรียม โตลอย ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และนายปราโมทย์ สุวรรณประเสริฐ รักษาการผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายสื่อสารการตลาด ซึ่งร่วมสนับสนุนทั้งด้านนโยบาย ระบบเทคโนโลยี การบริหารจัดการ และการสื่อสารผลงานของมหาวิทยาลัย
การประสานงาน รวบรวมหลักฐาน และถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวการพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ของ UTCC ดำเนินการโดยคณะทำงาน UTCC Apple Distinguished School นำโดย อาจารย์ ดร.สิริพันธ์ ดีศีลธรรม อาจารย์ประจำคณะบริหารธุรกิจและประธานคณะทำงาน ร่วมกับ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นันทิ สุทธิการนฤนัย อาจารย์ประจำคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ชฎารัตน์ พิพัฒนนันท์ อาจารย์ประจำคณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี และนางสุวรรณี แสงสอาด เลขานุการคณะทำงาน
ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้ไม่ได้เกิดจากบุคคลหรือหน่วยงานใดเพียงลำพัง แต่เกิดจากการร่วมแรงร่วมใจของผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ บุคลากร นักศึกษา และทีมงานเบื้องหลังจากทุกภาคส่วน เกียรติบัตรที่มอบในครั้งนี้จึงเป็นคำขอบคุณแก่ทุกท่านที่ร่วมกันทำให้เทคโนโลยีเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเรียนรู้ และร่วมขับเคลื่อนเส้นทาง Apple Distinguished School ของ UTCC ให้เดินหน้ามาอย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดกว่า 15 ปีที่ผ่านมา
UTCC Marks Its Fifth Consecutive Apple Distinguished School Recognition, Celebrating 15 Years of Technology-Enabled Learning
On 14 July 2026, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce celebrated a milestone in its educational journey. The occasion marked UTCC’s fifth consecutive recognition as an Apple Distinguished School, covering the 2025–2028 period.
The ceremony brought together university leaders, faculty members, staff, students, and contributors from across UTCC. Associate Professor Dr Thanavath Phonvichai, President of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, presided over the event, congratulated the university community, and presented certificates of appreciation to those who had contributed to the recognition. The strong turnout gave the occasion a warm sense of shared achievement.
Apple Distinguished School, or ADS, recognition is awarded to educational institutions that connect technology with a clear vision for teaching and learning. It considers how technology supports leadership, educator development, classroom practice, and the student experience. The recognition is based on evidence of implementation and learning outcomes, not simply on the number of devices or digital systems in use.
UTCC was the first university in Southeast Asia to receive Apple Distinguished School recognition at the university-wide level. The recognition covers the institution as a whole, with a shared approach that extends across faculties, academic programmes, support units, and university services.
That journey began more than 15 years ago with UTCC’s 1:1 iPad ecosystem and iHybrid learning model. It later expanded to include UTCC LMS, online learning and assessment, and, more recently, artificial intelligence and UTCC Jarvis. Together, these developments have supported teaching, student learning, academic work, and university services. The 2025–2028 recognition marks UTCC’s fifth consecutive ADS cycle, with each cycle requiring fresh evidence of how technology is being used across the university to improve teaching and learning.
This work was supported by the university’s executive team, led by Associate Professor Dr Thanavath Phonvichai, President of UTCC, together with Mr Poramate Songsangterm, Senior Vice President for Corporate Business Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr Chatchai Wangwiwattana, Vice President for Information Technology; Ms Mariam Toloy, Assistant to the President for Information Technology; and Mr Pramote Suwanprasert, Acting Assistant to the President for Marketing Communications. Their support helped align university policy, technology systems, day-to-day operations, and the communication of UTCC’s educational work.
The UTCC Apple Distinguished School Working Committee coordinated the application process. The committee was led by Dr Siripan Deesilatham, Lecturer at the UTCC Business School and Chair of the Working Committee, together with Assistant Professor Dr Nanthi Suthikarnnarunai of the School of Engineering; Assistant Professor Chadarat Phipathananunth of the School of Science and Technology; and Ms Suwannee Sangsaard, Secretary to the Working Committee. The team gathered evidence, verified information, and documented examples of teaching and learning from across the university.
The recognition, however, was the result of work across the entire university. It reflects the contributions of university executives, faculty members, staff, students, and the many teams working behind the scenes. The certificates presented at the ceremony were more than a formal acknowledgement; they were a sincere thank-you to all those who have helped make technology part of everyday learning at UTCC and sustained this university-wide effort for more than 15 years.
