
UTCC welcomed the delegation from the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC)
On Saturday, July 5, 2025, Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Senior Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Honorary Advisor to UTCC University Council, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr.Thanavath Phonvichai, President of UTCC, warmly welcomed the delegation from the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC).
The delegation was led by Mr. Yuan mindao, Vice President of CPAFFC, accompanied by Ms. Zhu Dan, Director-General, East Asian Affairs Department and senior officials from the East Asian Affairs Department.
Also joining the meeting were UTCC executives and faculty members, including Mrs. panida thepkanjana Vice Chairperson of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burin Srisomthawin, Dean, Thai-Chinese International School of Management, Ms. Parichart Thammajinda, Head, Office of International Relations; and other faculty members from the Thai-Chinese International School of Management, the Office of International Relations (OIR) team, along with Ms. Nisa Kaewmongkol, Director of BLCA Bangkok,
The discussion highlighted the long-standing friendship between Thailand and China, especially as the two nations celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations in 2025. Both parties exchanged ideas on fostering Thai youth’s understanding of Chinese language and culture and explored collaborative initiatives to strengthen people-to-people ties in line with CPAFFC and UTCC’s missions. UTCC reaffirms its commitment to being a bridge for educational and cultural exchanges between Thailand and China.
